Post-Tropical Cyclone “Not A Threat To Bermuda”
[Updated] Fiona — which has weakened from a Tropical Storm to a Tropical Depression — remains a “potential threat” to Bermuda, and its closest point of approach to the island within 72 hrs is forecast to be 204nm to the south-west at 6.00am on Thursday [August 25], the Bermuda Weather Service said in their latest update this morning.

The latest forecast from the U.S. National Hurricane Center says, “At 5.00am AST, the center of Tropical Depression Fiona was located near latitude 24.4 North, longitude 58.4 West.
“The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 18 mph [30 km/h]. A continued west-northwestward motion with a gradual decrease in forward speed is forecast later today and on Tuesday.
“Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph [55 km/h] with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours, but Fiona could become a post-tropical remnant low in the next day or two.

Update Aug 23, 1.36pm: Fiona is now a Post-Tropical Cyclone, and the BWS said it is “not a threat to Bermuda at this time.”

It would actually be better if it came… we need the rain. There’s nothing bad it would do, it’s not a strong system at all.
I do hope it brings us some relief with some rain.
We do have stronger winter storms than this one.
Rain is good, hope not during cunny game, but I’ll take what I can get.
