PLP Sandys To Host “Week Of Activities”

The Sandys Branches of The Bermuda Progressive Labour Party announced that their 5th annual Week of Activities will kick off on Sunday March 26th under the theme “Unity in the Community.”

Constituency 35 MP Dennis Lister said, “In what has become a tradition, Constituencies 33, 34, 35 and 36 have come together to offer a series of activities designed to bring the Sandys Community together in the spirit of unity.”

The PLP Sandys Week of Activities begins with a church service at the First Church of God on Sound View Road.

The week continues on Thursday March 30th with a screening of “A Date With Destiny,” a documentary and panel discussion on the PLP’s first victory in 1998 and will be held at Sandys Secondary School.

On Saturday April 1st, a community cleanup will be held beginning at 9am. The location and details to be announced later this week.

The Sandys PLP Branch Week of Activities concludes with a $15 a plate Cod Fish Breakfast at the Somerset Cricket Club on Sunday April 2nd, starting at 8am.
