Photos & Results: YAO Baseball League

The YAO Baseball Season continued recently at the YAO Ball Park, with the Cubs winning a back-and-forth affair against the Marlins.

Cubs took the lead for good in the fourth inning to capture a back-and-forth game from Marlins by a 6-5 score. The game was tied at two with Cubs batting in the bottom of the fourth when Micaiah Furbert walked Jaden Malpas to drive in the go ahead run.

Cubs built a four-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Marlins’s charge, when they scored three runs on a double in the sixth inning, by Dariyon Davis. But the rally felt short with the Cubs winning. The Cubs hit the field today in a double header at the Kindley Field Ball Park.
