Saltus Students Celebrate 100% Pass Rate
Students at Saltus Grammar School are again celebrating a 100 percent pass rate in GCSE and [i]GCSE exams.
Of the 61 S11 students who took five or more exams, 100 percent achieved at least five A*-C [i]GCSE passes and 39% of all exams taken were awarded A or A* grades.
Students from S10 also successfully sat a variety of the internationally accepted exams ahead of schedule.

Head of School, Deryn Lavell, said the results were further proof of student success, coming in the wake of Advanced Placement [AP] exams where the school again exceeded the global average pass rates.
She added: “It takes so much hard work, commitment and discipline to achieve results like these. Each and every student should feel as proud of their success as we are of them.
“It is also testimony to the strength of the Saltus faculty who offered guidance and support throughout this journey. Congratulations to all.”
The top performer this academic year was Jewell Cumberbatch who achieved 7A*s and 3 A grades. Other students of particular merit include: Gabriel Jones who achieved 7 A*s and 2 As; Sydney Rego achieved 4 A*s and 5 As; Jackson Spurling achieved 8A*s and 1 B; Ryne Cash achieved 3 A*s and 5 As; Sy McPeek achieved 1 A* and 7 As; Jaylen Simons achieved 3 A*s and 5 As.
Deputy Head of School, Jon Beard, said: “We are so pleased for our students to see these outstanding results. Their success is due to their hard work, and that of our excellent staff.
“These examinations are a terrific yardstick at this time in their education, and will spur them on as they start their final two years and prepare for university.”
