‘Young Original Unstoppable’ Tickets On Sale
Designed for Impact Women’s Conference has announced that tickets are now on sale for the Young Original Unstoppable [YOU] event.
A spokesperson said, “Designed for Impact Women’s Conference is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for Young Original Unstoppable 2018. Originally named PowerGirls, Young Original Unstoppable held its first event in December of 2017. The pilot was organized by a group of women hoping to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young girls by creating content that would help to build confidence, encourage healthy habits and inspire creativity.
“In addition to helping young girls to develop new friendships while learning about their unique gifts and talents, YOU takes leadership and development content typically reserved for adults, and makes it relevant for kids.
“At YOU, we believe that girls are capable of accomplishing great things, even at a young age. I also believe that it is never too early to start investing in the next generation.” says Dr. Crystal Clay, 2018 YOU Facilitator.
“The second event geared for young girls ages 10 – 12 is planned for Sunday, December 2nd at the Fairmont Southampton, Resort & Spa and will feature an exciting line-up, including the original Power Girl, Patrina O’Conner-Paynter, the event Host.
“The YOU program includes three rotations that will run simultaneously throughout the fun-filled day. The first rotation will be led by leadership & strengths experts, Dr. Crystal Clay, Heather Kay and Ann Dorgan. The second rotation has been designed to help the girls develop lifelong healthy habits and will be led by Sionna Barton of the Bermuda Jump Rope Association.
“The final rotation, “Cupcake Wars”, will feature some of Bermuda’s top bakers – Georgina Roach of Sugar Rush Cakes and Linnea Masters of Frostbites – and encourage the girls to work as a team while unleashing their creativity. The event will also feature dancer, Soleil Richardson, and singer, Dakota Tucker.
“YOU is presented by title sponsor Axa XL and is also supported by a variety of international and local businesses who believe in investing in Bermuda’s future. The 2018 Charity Partner for YOU is Big Brothers Big Sisters [BBBS] of Bermuda and the event will look to make a donation to assist the charity with operating costs.
