Equestrian: BHPA Fall Show Gets Underway

The BHPA Fall Show 2018 got underway at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street on Saturday.

In the Open Junior Equitation Medal Class, Kayla Bardgett rode Causing Chaos to victory, with Cody Rego and Casanova second and finishing third was Hannah Simmons and Mind Over Matter.

Courtney Sims and Mr. Rainman won the Equitation Over Cross Rails Open Class, with Indigo Adamson and Matinee finished second with Izzy Robinson and Just Pete finishing third.

The Junior Equitation 12-14 Years Flat Class was won by Kelsey Amos riding Matinee, Up Up and Away and Mackenzie James finished second and Skyla White riding Caesar finished third.

Champions and Reserve Champions were announced for each Class.

  • Reserve Champion – Johnny Be Good – Kallie Rose New

Junior Equitation 15-18 Years

  • Champion – Causing Chaos – Kayla Bardgett
  • Reserve Champion – De Le Vega – Christian Truran

Junior Equitation 12-14 Years

  • Champion – Casanova – Cody Rego
  • Reserve Champion – Boom Boom Pow – Alex Clare

Walk & Trot Equitation 10 Years & Under

  • Champion – Edelweiss – Alejandra Tafur
  • Reserve Champion – Just Pete – Izzy Robinson
  • Reserve Champion – Ready or Not – Cooper White

Adult Equitation

  • Champion – Good As Gold – Stephanie Kemp
  • Reserve Champion – Up Up and Away – Abby Bardgett

Junior Equitation Under 12 Years

  • Champion – Jack of Hearts – Camryn Lines
  • Reserve Champion – Westside Story – Kamali Tucker

Short Stirrup Equitation 12 Years & Under

  • Champion – Happy Feet – Tyler James
  • Reserve Champion – Piece of the Puzzle – Jenna Ferreira
