Video: Sunday Jan 13th ‘Good News’ Spotlight

News that Stephen Benn began a 48.6 mile charitable run in memory of his twins Alexander and Natasha, the Generation Next Youth Movement featured Leo Burgess, Hamilton Princess doubled its spending on locally caught fish, Bermuda grown produce, and other local ingredients, and Sol Petroleum Bermuda donated $5,000 to the BIOS Ocean Academy Program were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

Other good news stories included Za’Khari Turner reaching for her dreams at IMG Academy, Amelia Othman and Caitlyn Bobb meeting the standard for the 2019 Carifta Games, a cahow laying an egg on Nonsuch Island to get the 2019 nesting season off to a start, a new partnership that will allow students to study overseas, and EY being saluted for supporting the Bermuda Senior Islanders’ Centre.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the FTM Race at Admiralty Park, BNA’s Merle Parfitt and Who’s Who netball tournaments, signage highlighting Dockyard plant life, St. David’s defeating YMSC 3-1, Karting Club racing action, and the Eastern CAT Officers Community Dinner.
