March 8: Potluck Supper For Malachai Belboda
A potluck supper to benefit Malachai Belboda will be held on Friday [March 8] from 6.00pm to 9.00pm at the Ocean View Club.
A spokesperson said, “Bermudas Brazilian Football School [BBFS registered charity #890] encourages our local football fans to support Malachai Belboda. Malachai is a Bermudian who was scouted by Fulham FC who play in the English Premier League. Currently, he plays as a forward/midfielder in their U12 academy.
“He is the son of Marvin and Chantelle Belboda and a former playing member of BAA and Bermudas Brazilian Football School. Malachai is an outstanding student athlete on and off the field and is working hard to achieve his goals.
“All funds raised will go towards his studies and additional private coaching lessons, to ensure that he is able to expedite his academic and football development. Malachai is also excelling off the field, as he continues to achieve high marks on his exams and projects.
“BBFS is very proud to have one of our former members enter a professional English Premier League academy in the UK. We will continue to offer Malachai and other student athletes our support, so that they may achieve their personal goals and objectives in life.”
