Video: Sunday May 12th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that the Bermuda Nurses Association announced Janice Mullings-George as Nurse of the Year, Kayla Hollis and Laree Talbot were awarded bursaries, and Allied World Bermuda donated 25 iPads to Dellwood Middle School were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Erica Hawley and Tyler Smith won bronze medals in Mexico, baseball player Adam Hall was named Minor League Player of the Month for April, Adam Richards and Mika Tomita received rugby Club Caps, equestrian Jillian Terceira won her class in the Netherlands, and Zeiko Lewis scored for Charleston Battery.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of Bermuda field hockey action, Bermuda Karting Club racing, the Bicycle Association Criterium, the Johnnie Walker Classic Final, a Western Union branch opening in Hamilton, and the Bermuda Nurses Association announcing the Nurse of the Year.
