Video: Sunday August 20 ‘Good News’ Spotlight

Kaelin Cox and Garon Wilkinson winning gold medals at the Panamerican Kung Fu & Taiji Championships in Costa Rica, the Bermuda Boccia team competing in Colombia, Malachi Jones and Alafia Henry being named Cricket Players of Week, and Lisa Brewster being selected as a Duperreault Fellow were some of the positive news stories this week.

In additional good news, Government scholarship award winners were announced, the Bermuda Arts Council Student Award recipients were announced, seven students received legal education awards, and GQ Magazine praising Cup Match as the ‘Wildest, Most Fun Island Party You’ve Never Heard Of.’

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the Around the Island Powerboat Race, beach volleyball, cricket, Eastern County, football, and Wednesday Night Sailing.
