Basketball League: Hoopstars & Skyforce Win
The Bermuda Basketball Winter League season resumed with a double header inside the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium, which produced 247 total points on the night.
In the opener the St. George’s Hoopstars defeated the Southampton Thundercats 73 – 64. Jahzion Lugo scored 26 points to lead the St. George’s Hoopstars to victory, while Kevin Stephens scored 17 points for the Southampton Thundercats.
The second game saw the Pembroke Skyforce defeat the Paget Flyboys sponsored by Bermuda College 63 – 47. Jason Lowe scored 17 points for the Pembroke Skyforce, while Jorel Smith scored 21 points for the Paget Flyboys.
