Motorcyclist Flees On Foot After Accident

Police officers spent a part of Saturday morning searching for a motorcyclist who fled the scene after he was involved in an accident with a car.

Around 8:55am on Saturday [Nov 13], Police attended an accident on Spice Hill Road in Warwick near the junction with Westmount Lane.

The driver of the car, a 33 year old Pembroke woman, was not injured, however both vehicles received extensive front end damage.

Police officers searched the Warwick area for the cycle rider without success, however they continue their inquiries into this incident.

Over the weekend there were 4 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving, 7 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 7 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 10 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
