Containers: Imports Down, Exports Up
Viewing the Hamilton cargo docks from Harbour Road reveals that there seems to be a lot more space on the docks. War Vet Geoffrey Alan Osborn Dead at 89
Geoffrey Alan Osborn, who was awarded the prestigious George Medal for his service during WWII, died last week in South Carolina at age 89. His obituary says, “Mr. Osborn was born in Woolston, England, and grew up in Bermuda. BIU Accept 1.65% Wage Increase
Yesterday [June 23] BIU President Chris Furbert confirmed that the membership accepted a 1.65% wage increase, which works out to approximately $17 a week extra. Man Charged With Theft Of Police Car
A 45-year-old man was remanded in custody yesterday morning [June 23] after appearing in Magistrates Court charged in relation to an incident in which an unmarked police car was stolen from Police Headquarters in Prospect. Huge “Bermuda” Shark Photo Taken in Cornwall
A brief buzz went around online yesterday [June 23] after what appeared to be a photo of a massive shark close to the rocks surfaced.
