Bermuda Netball League Results
The Bermuda Netball League Season continued on Saturday [Nov.19] at the Bernard Park.
In Under 12 Division action, the Cougars Cubs lost by default to the Netts Greens, while the Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds went down 19 – 9 to the Netts Whites and the Colts Warriors went down 30 – 11 to the Lady Rams.
In the Under 14 Division, the Lady Rams went down 15 – 12 to Data Tech and the Nu-Art SuperStarz went down 18 – 17 to the YMSC Bluebird Young’uns. In the Under 16 Division the Signworx defeated the Lady Rams 35 – 11.
The NVCC Lady Rams defeated the Smooth and Easy Tigers 36 – 34, Nikita Trott scored 20 goals for the NVCC Lady Rams to lead them to victory, while Kristin Holman added 9 goals, Flo Simons chipped in with 6 goals and Natalie Brown scored once. The Smooth and Easy Tigers got 24 goals from JahKenya Trott and 10 goals from JahTuere Trott.
Deborah DeShields scored 55 goals to lead New Life to a 65 – 37 win over the Signworx Netts, Kimale Evans added 10 goals for New Life. Danielle Onyia scored 20 goals for the Signworx Netts, while Jaylene Hinds added 5 goals and Jasmine Renfroe scored twice.
The DataTech Netts defeated the YMSC Blazing Bluebirds 47 – 13, Denise Rawlins scored 24 goals for the DataTech Netts, while Rhoda Jones added 12 goals and Arkeita Fubler scored 9 goals. Akiela Hendrickson scored 8 goals for the YMSC Blazing Bluebirds, while Ehbone Jones scored 5 times.
The YMSC Lady Bluebirds defeated the NVCC Lady Rams Too 68 – 15, Danielle Raynor scored 42 goals to lead the YMSC Lady Bluebirds, while Ebonie Burgess added 10 goals and Shanelle Lewis scored 6 goals. The NVCC Lady Rams Too got 8 goals from Vernicka Symonds, Drewshae Bascome added 5 goals and Chenzira Lightbourne scored twice.
The DC Warriors went down 45 – 18 to the WWC Pink Panthers, Darrika Woodley-Simons scored 22 goals for the WWC Pink Panthers, Kirstin Saltus scored 14 goals and Melissa Fiddick scored 9 goals. Theresa Brangman scored 7 goals for the DC Warriors, while Stacey O’Brien scored 6 times and Abby Caldas scored 5 goals
