    • Let's have Debates instead! says:

Forget these Town Hall meetings – epic waste of time. How about having a few DEBATES like in the States? Why not?? What are our parties afraid of? Instead of bickering via the media and calling each other names, why not start having debates?

      C’mon, let’s have Debates!

      • Yup says:

Film the Town Hall and it can go down in history on how to defend the indepensible.

  2. Rockfish#1 says:

The purpose of these meetings is to prepare the masses for the massive tax increases made necessary by the looting of the public purse!

  3. No more meetings says:

    Dear Madam Premier,

Kindly ‘roll out’ your successor no more Town Hall meetings where we tell you what we have already done in the last set of meetings and on the blogs that your advisors read daily to give you feedback on public sentiment these same people are setting you up this is a bad idea.

If your advisors cant give you any names weve made suggestions even if these individuals are used on an interim basis until an appropriate leader is recruited from international business

  5. Triangle Drifter says:

At this point in time save for the dotting of Is & the crossing of Ts the 2012-2013 budget is set, or at least it should be if it has been done in a timely fashion.

Any public meetings now are really a waste of time on the publics part. Watch how much time is used for blah, blah, blah from the polititians.

    • Bewildered says:

The Town Hall meetings will almost certainly be used for electioneering, pure and simple. Watch for the planted and stage managed questions, praise for what is being done and the refusal for non partisan questions or points. Heard it all before, and it will I’m sure just confirm that the dial has not been reset.

  6. pebblebeach says:

More Electioneering Cog-wash…just tell me how much you are going to raise my taxes to pay for the mismanagement of the people’s purse which by in large a portion ended up in the bank accounts of a few while under your watch…
