The menu is irrelevant, the food and service are good here but there is no bar, the room has no atmosphere whatsoever.
Put a bar in the middle of the room and maybe it will improve. How can it be called a pub without a bar? It’s just a dining room!

@James—your quite right I think they tried to be creative with the name “Gastropub” but theres no other way to slice it, once you mention ‘Pub” that is automatic alcohol consumption….then again there are a lot of Italian, french resturants that are not authentic either even though the name implies it should be..hmmmmm education all around seems to be lacking…nevertheless may go and check out the ‘gastropub” this week since they are having liquor!

We tried to book dinner there a few weeks ago, but for whatever reason, they don’t bother to take reservations – so we couldn’t be bothered to go all the way there to find that they couldn’t take us. Not high on my list of places to go…. whatever..

The food is great here, and it is so refreshing to finally have a restaurant in Bda that doing something different, changing up the menu and bringing some innovation to the lackluster Bermuda restaurant scene. Great job Newport, keep up the good work and we will look forward to the renovation that will bring the ambiance in line with the exciting new food menus.
