Nahki Wells Scores In Bradford City Draw
Despite having been considered “doubtful” for today’s [Dec 15] game against Southend United due to picking up a minor knee injury during Bradford’s victory over Arsenal on Tuesday, Bermuda’s Nahki Wells started the game and piled in yet another goal.
Bradford went in front in the 27th minute with Nahki Wells tapping home from close range after his first effort had been blocked by Luke Prosser. Bradford doubled their lead in the 64th minute, however Southend scored twice after that and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
The 22-year-old Bermudian continues to lead all scorers for Bradford, with today’s goal marking his 15th this season.
