ICC Cricket Warm-Up: Bermuda Lose To Oman
Bermuda met up with Oman yesterday [Apr 22] in advance of the ICC World Division 3 Tournament which will be held next week. The warm up match was held at the Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club, and saw Oman walk away with a 2 wicket victory.
Oman won the toss and decided to send Bermuda in to bat. Bermuda were bowled all out for 134 with Malachi Jones the top scorer on 59. Greg Maybury finished with 26, and they were the only two batsman to reach double figures. Munis Ansari tore through the Bermuda early order finishing with figures of 9.0-3-16-6.
In reply Oman scored 136/8. Jatinder Singh was their top scorer with 43, Syed Amir Ali added 32 sharing a 42 run partnership with Rajesh Ranpura. Jacobi Robinson was the pick of the Bermuda bowlers with figures of 10-2-33-4.

Are you guys kidding me?! I think we need to be honest with ourselves and stop wasting money! Concentrate on getting youngsters out of Bermuda and let them mature as cricketers overseas cause they sure as hell can’t do it in Bermuda! The older players other than Janeiro and David Hemp need to be Thanked for their services and be let go! Lionel, as great a cricketer as I think you have been, you need to be dropped until you find your old self! Which in fairness is hard to do in Bermuda’s cricket!
