Rider Injured After Bike Collides With Car

A motorcycle rider was injured on Thursday [July 11] when he was involved in a collision with a car near the junction of Wellington Street and Fort George Hill in St George’s.

Emergency services responded to the accident scene at approximately 6.15pm where Fire Service personnel cared for the injured man until an attending ambulance arrived and transported the rider to hospital for treatment.

Traffic flow in and out of the town was restricted to one lane while emergency personnel dealt with the accident. The rider’s injuries did not appear to be serious as he was seen walking to the ambulance.

    I heard that the previous government didn’t like so many people going to jail because they couldn’t pay their fines, so they told the police not to book people for speeding… That is why the speeds have gone up so much on the roads in Bermuda

    doing the BIG Bermuda WIDE Left turn which many have done for years to get up that road and an idiot not paying attention and speeding on a bike.
    The impact damage to the car tells anyone the biker was speeding.
