Care@Home To Host Care Giveaway

Care@Home Services has announced its First Annual Care Giveaway, set to take place on December 14, 2013 at the Botanical Gardens Visitors Center.

Beginning at 8:00am that day, recipient families will be able to fill their bags with gently used children’s clothing, shoes, toys, and unlimited books. On the hour every hour, the event will feature special giveaways as donated by vendor partners and sponsors.

This event is sponsored by Barritts, Goslings, Hunts Food & Supplies, The Catalyst Group, Esso and Rubis partners, and many individual client families.

Care@Home is a bespoke nanny placement and domestic staffing firm servicing more than 70 client families locally. Client families and friends have donated carloads of children’s wear, toys, books and supplies which will be given away on Saturday, 14 Dec.

Managing Director, Barbara Williams said, “Charity truly begins at home, and we are so very richly blessed. With the support of our clients, we will impact so many families who, in many cases, are in need of the basics for their children.

“At this time of year, the feeling of inadequacy weighs so heavily on parents who are struggling. I personally just wanted to help . We’ve been really overwhelmed by the response. And our staff has gone above and beyond in helping families sort, wash, iron and pack for donation. It’s been great.”
