Youth & Senior Netball League Weekend Results
Netballers in both the junior and senior leagues took to the court this weekend, with the Signworx Netts Green, Data Tech Netts Whites, North Village Lady Rams, Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Juniors, Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Younguns, Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds, WWC Pink Panthers and Young Men Social Club Blazin Bluebirds all picking up wins.
Under 12 Division
The Signworx Netts Green defeated the Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds 26 – 12. Asha Symons led the Signworx Nets Green to victory scoring 22 goals, while Amiyah Butterfield added 4 goals. Kessiah Jackson scored 10 goals for the Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds, while Jyotsna Sureshkumar added 2 goals.
The Data Tech Netts Whites defeated the Warriors 39 – 1, Kaamilah Nasir scored 22 goals for the Data Tech Netts Whites, Saleah Tuzo added 15 goals, while Maya Saunders and Cailey Longworth added a goal each, Dalia Ebbin scored the lone goal for the Warriors.
Under 15 Division
The North Village Lady Rams defeated the Data Tech Netts Greens 25 – 4. Jordyn Morris and Xah-Niyah Hunt scored 11 goals each, while Zhanae Simmons added 3 goals. Teyah Lindo scored the 4 goals for the Data Tech Netts Greens.
The Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Juniors defeated the North Village Lady Rams Too 39 – 3. Satashie Rogers led the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Juniors to victory with 20 goals, while Damequa Daniels added 14 goals and Deja Harvey scored 5 goals. Brianna Swaison scored 2 goals for the North Village Lady Rams Too, while Xon-Naye Hunt added the other goal.
Tamera Simmons and Krishay Tucker scored 12 goals each to help the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Younguns to a 26 – 7 win over the Cougars. Kiara Francis scored the other 2 goals for the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Younguns.
Senior League
Ebonie Burgess scored 28 goals to lead the Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds to a 46 – 33 win over the Signworx Netts. Danielle Raynor added 12 goals and Arkeita Fubler scored 6 goals. Danielle Onyia scored 30 goals for the Signworx Netts, while Jazmyne Renfroe scored 3 goals.
The WWC Pink Panthers defeated the Robin Hood Tigers 53 – 31, Deborah Deshields led the WWC Pink Panthers to victory with 36 goals, while Darrika Simons added 9 goals and Kirstin Saltus scored 8 times.
The Young Men Social Club Blazin Bluebirds defeated the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Too 53 – 19. Fredricka Samuels scored a game high 52 goals to lead the Young Men Social Club Blazin Bluebirds to victory, with Chenzira Eve scoring the other goal. Shondae Woods- Bell scored 10 goals for the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Too, while Chinyere Nwasike scored three times, Keizhari Knight, T’Yanna Hayward and Shondenae Wods-Bell all scored two goals each.
