Goalkeeper Freddy Hall Signed By Burton Albion
Bermudian goalkeeper Freddy Hall has been signed to English League II side Burton Albion until the end of the 2013/14 season.
The 29-year-old had been training with the team for a week before signing a short-term contract with the club. The Bermuda international’s most recent club was MLS side Toronto FC where he made seven appearances.
Burton Albion Manager Gary Rowett said: “Freddy has been training with us and he has a good pedigree.
“With Rob Lainton only on loan we need to make sure we have adequate cover in the goalkeeping position.
“It will give us a chance to look at him more long-term, he has played at a good level with Toronto FC and this is a chance for him to make a career in England,” added Mr. Rowett.
Founded in 1950, Burton Albion Football Club is based in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.
Keep up the hard work Fred!
Wonderful news, we love Freddie and very proud of him here in the Eastend.
Good luck Freddy. Don’t hurt your back too much bending over to get the ball from the net when you face Reuben Reid in a few weeks time.
Great news! Hard work, determination, dedication pay off. Well deserved!!!
Congratulations!
