[Updated with video] As part of its community support initiative, Bermuda HealthCare Services [BHCS] is renewing its $10,000 sponsorship for Pembroke Hamilton Club [PHC], a community club renowned for their sports programmes and community involvement.
BHCS Founder and Executive Chairman, Dr. Ewart Brown said, “Bermuda HealthCare Services believes in Community Support. That’s why we have identified organizations and individuals to sponsor who are improving our community and represent the pinnacle of Bermudian work ethic and commitment.”
Dr. Brown continued, “PHC, with its rich history, strong commitment to youth development and community involvement has demonstrated that they not only care about the community, but they are willing to put in the work to improve our community. Since 2009, BHCS has supported PHC and we are pleased to renew our support for the 2014-2015 season.”
PHC President Jonathan Ball said, “We are grateful for the support that Bermuda HealthCare has demonstrated to PHC over the years.
“BHCS has been a partner of PHC since April 21st 2009. Through those years PHC’s senior team has won the soccer league championship and the FA Cup. The U14 and U16 teams have been very successful as they have won the league and Knock Out Cup. In addition, the women’s team has won their respective league on two occasions.”
Mr. Ball concluded, “The BHCS sponsorship offsets the costs of running the soccer program which boasts 180 youth players and 50 Senior Players as well as 20 Masters Players.”
