Netball League: Lady Bluebirds & Teachers Win
The Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League Season continued at the Bernard Park with a total of 115 goals scored in two games.
The Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds defeated Butterfield Bank 40 – 27. Ebonie Burgess scored 17 goals to lead the Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds to victory, while Fredricka Samuels added 12 goals and Donnisha Gardiner scored 11 goals. Danielle Raynor scored 17 goals for Butterfield Bank, they also got 10 goals from Nikita Trott.
Kimale Evans scored 29 goals to lead the BUT Teachers to a 33 – 15 win over the PHC Lady Zebras. Tanika White added 3 goals and Camile Masters scored once. Jennifer Simmons scored 13 goals for the PHC Lady Zebras, while June Swan scored twice.
