Women’s Football: Bermuda Lose To Haiti
The Bermuda Women’s National team began competing in the Caribbean Football Union [CFU] Women’s Championships in Trinidad and Tobago, and took on Haiti in the opening match of the tournament.
Bermuda’s starting line-up was Jeada Smith, Teara Thomas, Akeyla Gurney, K’sheala Burch Waldron, Dominique Richardson, Shuntae Todd, Aaliyah Nolan, Tschana Wade, Cheyra Bell, Marley Christian and Ebonnie Burgess.
Haiti found the back of the net in the 9th, 38th, 42nd and 83rd before Todd would pull a goal back for Bermuda, but Haiti would score once more before the referee could blow the final whistle.
