Law Firm Raises $2,000 For “Toys For Tots”
Staff at a leading Bermuda law firm raised almost $2,000 to help provide gifts for children this Christmas, with Conyers Dill & Pearman using the money to buy gift and movie certificates for the annual Coldwell Banker Toys for Tots appeal, which collects presents for distribution at the Coalition for the Protection of Children’s Christmas party.
The gift certificates were bought from Specialty Cinema, Coopers, Gibbons, Pro Shop and P-Tech.
Robin Mayor, a director and Head of Insolvency and Restructuring, said: “We wanted once again to support the Coalition’s drive for gifts for children. We talked to Sarah Faiella at Coldwell Banker and instead of using the money to buy presents we decided to buy the certificates which will benefit 12 to 16-year-old children.”
