Supper Club’s “Motown Through The Ages”
The Supper Club is getting set to present ‘Motown Through the Ages,’ featuring local artists performing Motown hits from the 60s through the 80s, on Saturday, April 25 in the Paradise Lounge, which is located on White Sands Road in Paget.
Cocktails will be served starting at 7.30pm, with a four-course dinner at 8.00pm. The cost is $85 per ticket, with tables for 2 to 8 people available.
Jewel Landy, owner and operator of Paradise Lounge, said, “Paradise Lounge is a destination event venue which provides full service to its guests.
“This means we offer everything from catering, full bar service, in house entertainment, in house decorating, full audio visual equipment and technical support such as professional sound reinforcement, LCD projectors, screens, podiums, lighting, and more.
“We can professionally plan your entire event or work closely with one’s event planner. Some of the functions we do are banquets, Wedding/receptions, anniversary/birthday parties, seminars, workshops, corporate events, theme parties, and more.”
“Options are provided for room layout such as banquet style, theatre style, classroom styles, dancing area , tables, linens, flatware, glassware, servers, bartenders and more. We are an intimate venue and prefer to cater up to 100 persons.
“This past weekend we held a Spring Jazz Tea for 80 persons featuring the Hammond organ, piano and drums, a 65th birthday party, and featured the local Bermudian band Fire & Ice. When we are not closed for private functions, our schedule is Thursday open from 5 – 10pm, with karaoke from 7 – 10.00pm.
“Friday Happy hours with a DJ or band, and Saturday old school DJ. This week Friday April 24, The Gentleman of Bermuda Cedar Inc. is hosting there 2nd Happy Hour from 5.00pm – 12.00am, with DJ “Bernie Mac” from Vibe 103.
“On Saturday, we are presenting “Motown Through the Ages”, which is our very first Paradise Lounge Supper Club. We are featuring all local entertainers. Tickets for the 4 course dinner and show is $85.00 Cocktails at 7.30pm with dinner at 8.00pm.
“Our goal is to provide a venue to showcase new talent. It does not have to be music, it can be dancing, comedy, anything that is entertaining and can be developed into a live show.”
