Woman Arrested: Suspicion Of Impaired Driving
A 34 year old woman was arrested on Friday night [Aug 14] for suspicion of driving while impaired after the car she was driving collided with a motorcycle on Reid Street near the junction with Burnaby Street resulting in the rider being injured.
A Police spokesperson said, “Around 11:45pm August 14th, police responded to a collision along Reid Street near the junction with Burnaby Street Pembroke, involving a motorcar and a motorcycle.
“It was reported that the motorcar was travelling east in the wrong direction on Reid Street, when the motorcar came into contact with a male on a motorcycle with was travelling west along the Reid Street.
“As a result the male cyclist was conveyed to KEMH where he was treated for his injuries. The 34 year old female driver was subsequently arrested for Suspicion of Driving While Impaired”
