Photos: Halloween Haunted Houses And Events
Ghouls, goblins and scary monsters were out in numbers on Halloween night [Oct 31] with home owners across the island welcoming trick-or-treaters of all ages.
Calvin Simons hosted his annual Haunted House located at his Cedar Hill, Warwick property with characters for the night played by friends and family. Popularity of the event has grown over the years with visitors coming from either end of the island to visit and experience the thrill of the Haunted House.

The Sunshine League, hosted their Halloween Carnival with games, a haunted trail, costume contests, a treasure hunt, trick-or-treats, a pumpkin carving contest and more. Dressed characters welcomed visitors to the event with a photo booth service available. All proceeds went towards the Sunshine League’s transitional living programme.
The Millett residence in West Pembroke had their yard filled with Halloween decorations and home filled with food and refreshments. Patti-Jean Millett has welcomed visitors to her home for over forty years, starting the tradition after her own children were born with yard decorating and expanding into building a Haunted House using the home’s porch and added tents.
The popular neighbourhood attraction has the yard filled with Halloween decorations and interactive characters that young and old flock to see. When not greeting trick-or-treaters with treats, Ms. Millett can be found in the house sorting out hot food and refreshments including turkey, beef, trimmings, desserts including cup cakes and pumpkin pie, and more.
The Paget home of Kim and Paul Spring has welcomed trick-or-treaters over the years and saw the property decorated once again with the pair and their children dressed in costume and scaring delighted visitors as they came for a treat. Adults were also entertained with refreshments and Mrs Spring chasing unsuspected victims with a roaring chain-less chainsaw.
