Collisions On King Street Following Oil Leak
The police have advised the public to be careful traveling in the area of King Street as a number of vehicles have “slid out” at that location, with a “few resulting in collisions,” following what the police said was an “oil leak” from a “large vehicle.”
Police Media Manager Dwayne Caines said, “A large vehicle had some sort of oil leak that has spread out in the area of King Street and Reid Street in City of Hamilton. A number of vehicles have “slid out” at that location [descending King Street approaching Reid Street junction] with a few resulting in collisions.
“Police are currently at the location and Works & Engineering have also been contacted to assist.”

They had one lane closed this morning at 7:50am as I passed through on my way out of town.
Nice way to stop all the bikers who don’t stop at the Fire Station stop sign.
So is the owner of the large vehicle paying for the damages?
