Butterfield Named “Best Bank” By Global Finance
The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited has been named Global Finance’s best bank in Bermuda in its 23rd annual selection of the world’s best banks in developed markets, the second year Butterfield has received this award.
Global Finance is a US-based periodical providing analysis and articles on financial markets and financial institutions, with a circulation of more than 50,000 subscribers in 188 countries.
A spokesperson said, “The editors of Global Finance made their selections of the 2016 winners after extensive consultations with corporate financial executives, bankers and analysts throughout the world.
“In addition, a poll of Global Finance’s corporate readership was conducted to increase the accuracy and reliability of the results. ”
In a press release announcing the winners, Global Finance said, “The winners of this year’s awards are those banks that attended carefully to their customers’ needs in difficult markets and accomplished better results while laying the foundations for future success.”
The complete list of the 2016 global winners will be published in the May edition of Global Finance.
