Video/Results: Horse Jumping At 2016 Ag Show
This year’s Ag Show experienced record numbers in the poultry division, junior art competition and the equestrian sections, with over 2500 exhibitors, 500 animals and tons of junior art pictures, organisers said.
After three days of equestrian events, results are in and winning the Fred Pimentel Award for junior with most points was Christian Truran. The George K. Kenien Award for the adult with most points went to Kirista Rabain.
Horse Jumping At Bermuda Ag Show
The Best Riding Horse in Show – The SPCA Cup – was won by Forza owned by Melinda DeCosta while the Best Riding Pony in Show – The Neville Dias Tray – went to Don’t Blink owned by Nicholas Lopes.
Random Renegade owned by Random Stables won the Best Driving Horse in Show – The Russell Young Memorial Trophy – while the Racing Pony Championship – The Greenbank Stables Trophy – was won by Brona’s Mike owned by Michael DeCosta. Best Driving Pony in Show – The DeCosta Construction Limited Trophy – was also won by Brona’s Mike.
Judges included Robyn Baechler from Canada and Todd Draheim from the United States along with National FEI Jumper Judge, Paul Pereech. The course designer was Bermuda’s Ian Truran.
