Argus Launches Cup Match Pre-Game Face Off

The Argus Group announced the launch of the Argus Cup Match Pre-Game FaceOff, a fun set of games and drills to promote Cup Match team spirit. The month-long challenges are open to the community in the lead up to Cup Match at the end of July.

The Argus Face Off team will set up wellness challenges around the Island in which participants will be asked to challenge one another to games, including Wheel of Fortune, Plinko [a play on the popular game the Price is Right] or Bean Bag toss.

The winner of each challenge receives a prize, earns spirit points towards his or her favourite Cup Match team and Argus will donate $10 in their name Bermuda Mental Health Foundationand Bermuda Heart Foundation.All challenges are open to the public and everyone is encouraged to participate.

Argus Launches Cup Match Pre-Game Face Off

On July 25, just before Cup Match, the Argus Face Off team will announce the team challenge winner and make the donations to Bermuda Mental Health Foundation and Bermuda Heart Foundation.

Lauren Bell, Executive Vice President, Life & Pensions at Argus, says, “We wanted to get into the Cup Match spirit by launching the Face Off challenge. It’s a chance for everyone to join in on the Cup Match fun.

“Whether you are a Somerset or a St. George’s fan, if you win a challenge, you add spirit points to your team and help to support local charities. It’s a win-win competition open to everyone in the community whether you support blue and blue or red and blue!”

The Argus Cup Match Pre-Game Face Off starts on Tuesday, June 21 and can be found from 12pm until 2pm [weather permitting] on the following dates and locations:

  • June 21 and 22:Par La Ville Park
  • June 29 and July 1:The MarketPlace at Heron Bay
  • July 5, 6 and 8: Par La Ville Park
  • July 13 and 15: The MarketPlace at Shelly Bay
  • July 20 and 22: Victoria Park
