Court: 39-Year-Old Denies Assaulting A Woman

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [August 2], a 39-year-old man was granted $4,000 bail after he denied assaulting a woman.

Michael Clamens pleaded not guilty to a charge of unlawfully assaulting a woman and causing her bodily harm, with this allegedly occurring yesterday.

The Magistrate set Clamen’s trial for September, and granted bail at $4,000 and ordered that he not have any contact with the complainant.
