College Art Auction To Be Held On Valentine’s
The Bermuda College Gallery Club will be hosting a charity art auction titled “Your Heart’s Desire” on Wednesday [Feb 14] from 8:00pm to 10:00pm at Cosmopolitan Night Club. Part proceeds of the auction will be going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda [BBBS].

A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda College Gallery Club has been working diligently since last term to organize “Your Heart’s Desire” – an art auction to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda.

“The entire event has been student organized. They secured Cosmopolitan Night Club as a dynamic venue, with the very gracious support of the owner.

“We are proud they decided on Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda as the beneficiary. As educators we view anyone providing opportunities and options for young Bermudians as kindred spirits.

“Students created works to be auctioned, and invited Bermuda College staff and alumni to do the same.
“Thanks to the invitations we have some artists participating that local art collectors should recognize, including: Edwin Smith, Louisa Bermingham, and Calix Smith.
