Witness Appeal: Firearm Incident In Hamilton
Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the firearm incident on Front Street, saying that investigators are interested in speaking with patrons who were at Docksider when the incident occurred.
A police spokesperson said, “Detectives are renewing their appeal for witnesses to the non-injury firearm incident that occurred around 1:10am Wednesday, May 16th outside The Docksider Pub and Restaurant in the City of Hamilton, as inquiries continue.
“In particular, investigators are interested in speaking with patrons who were at the popular Front Street establishment when the incident occurred.
“Anyone with any information, including relevant photos or video footage, is encouraged to contact Detective Sergeant Dean Martin at the Serious Crime Unit on 717-2074 or 247-1739. All information received will be treated in the strictest confidence.
“Alternatively, persons that can assist this investigation are asked to call the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477 at the earliest opportunity.”
Call it what it is… it’s a drive by shooting not a “firearm incident”! Enough with the shifting vocabulary…
