Consul General Of France In NY Visits Bermuda

Premier and Minister of Finance David Burt welcomed Consul General of France in New York, Mrs. Anne-Claire Legendre, during a visit to the Cabinet Office.

She was accompanied by France’s Honorary Consul to Bermuda, Nicole Haziza.

“A wide-ranging discussion between the two included Bermuda’s relationship with the European Union and the advent and future of blockchain technology,” the Government said.

“They further discussed opportunities for collaboration in fintech and global finance as well as challenges facing both countries, such as rising sea levels, electricity costs and alternative energy options for the future.”
