Court: Woman Charged With Boat Damage

A Hinson’s Island woman was charged with taking a boat and doing damage to it.
Mary-Beth Sherwin, 53, was charged with unlawfully taking a 16-foot skiff from Hinson’s Island. While she was in control of the boat, it is alleged that she did $8,000 worth of damage to it.
She was released on $5,000 bail.
