Notice Of Publication Of Register For Inspection And Objections

Notice is given that, in accordance with section 26A[1][b] of the Parliamentary Election Act 1978, as modified by the Municipalities [Election] Order 2015, copies of the municipal residents’ register for the Corporation of St. George’s [“the register”] are available for inspection from Wednesday 9 January 2019 at Town Hall, St. George, the Hamilton Police Station, the St. George’s Post Office and the Parliamentary Registry on the 3rd floor of Craig Appin House, #8 Wesley Street, Hamilton.

Objections to the registration of any person whose name is entered on the register must be delivered to the Parliamentary Registrar not later than seven days after the publication of the register. The grounds for such objections must be in writing and accompanied by a deposit of five dollars [$5].

Objections by any person that his name has been irregularly omitted from the register or that particulars relating to his name are incomplete or inaccurate must be delivered to the Parliamentary Registrar not later than seven days after the publication of the register. South Road, Warwick Parish

Lane Closure

For

Paving Works

Throughout January 2019

This Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists there will be sequential lane

closures for South Road in Warwick for new paving works to take place.

The section of South Road that will be affected by this lane closure is from

Dunscombe Road to Cobb’s Hill Road.

Motorists will be restricted to the use of one lane at a time on South Road to allow for

motorists to get by. The traffic control will be under direction of the

Ministry of Public Works Highway’s Department representatives.

As paving progressing traffic will be reduced down to one lane on

South Road throughout the month of January until the works can be completed.

Motorists are asked to avoid this lane closure section and to use alternative routes for the duration of this event.

Access along sections of lane closure will be permitted for emergency vehicles and for residents as the need arises.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that there will be a road closure for

Woodlands Road in Hamilton & Pembroke parishes, for the yearly Butterfield & Vallis

5K race to take place on Sunday, 27th January 2019 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.

The section of Woodlands Road that will be affected by this road closure is from the

roundabout at Serpentine Road in Pembroke parish to the roundabout at St. John’s Road in Pembroke parish.

Motorists are asked to avoid this road closure section and to use alternative routes

via Serpentine Road and St. John’s Road for the duration of this event.

The traffic control will be under direction of Butterfield & Vallis representatives.

Access along this section of road closure will be restricted to emergency vehicles only.
