British Airways Flight Diverts For Sick Passenger
A British Airways flight on its way to Punta Cana International Airport in the Dominican Republic diverted to Bermuda this evening [May 19] after a passenger fell ill and was in need of medical attention.
British Airways flight 2205 was met at the L.F. Wade International Airport terminal by Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service and airport officials. The sick passenger was transferred to an awaiting ambulance and transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment. The flight had departed from London-Gatwick Airport in the United Kingdom.
