Video: Sunday Jan 12th ‘Good News’ Spotlight

News that Chef Chiko donated $2,000 to assist a 2-year-old boy with his medical needs, the World Para Athletics website highlighted Jessica Lewis, Salayah Stange won the Bermuda Festival Heather Nova Singer/Songwriter Competition, and the Bermuda Powerboat Association donated $2,000 to St. John’s Ambulance were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, Ki-Juan Minors won his class at the WEF Festival, four Bermuda referees were recognized at a presentation, footballer Nahki Wells was named to the EA Sports FIFA Team of the Week, Nathan Armstrong reached the podium twice at the Tom Zaccone Invitational Indoor Track Meet, and sports legend Calvin “Bummy” Symonds was honoured.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of a Bermuda National Athletic Association track and field meet and Friends of Hospice Moon Walk.
