Impact Women In Travel Event On March 8th
A free event entitled “Impact Travel Bermuda Presents Women In Travel” will be held on Sunday, March 8th at Admiralty House Park at 3.00pm.
A spokesperson said, “Join Impact Travel chapters around the world this International Women’s Day to explore how travelers can come together to celebrate women.
“With the tourism industry as a major contributor to the livelihoods of women around the world, making conscious decisions when you travel is crucial to local sustainability.
“From booking with women-owned and operated businesses to seeking out companies that support female leadership, and shopping at women’s cooperatives to supporting equal education for girls, there are a number of ways you can empower women during your next trip.
“This year for International Women’s Day, Impact Travel Alliance is excited to explore how you can support women tourism entrepreneurs in Bermuda and in the communities you travel to.
