42-Year-Old Man Injured In Boat Fire In Warwick
A 42-year-old man sustained burns to his arm and legs following a boat fire in Warwick.
A police spokesperson said, “At around 5:10 p.m. on Saturday 20th June, Police & EMS were dispatched to a private dock just off Middle Road & Riddles Bay Road, Warwick, to a report of a boat fire.
“Upon arrival they found that a 42-year-old male on board the vessel was had sustained burns to his arm & legs.
“He was conscious & breathing and being treated by EMS personnel for injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
“Initial reports indicate the fire was possibly started by a battery that sparked near a gas canister. An investigator from Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service and informed police that nothing suspicious involved in the incident.”
