Photos: Bermuda Open Singles/Doubles Snooker

[Updated with photos] The Bermuda Snooker Association recently held the Bermuda Open singles and doubles final at Spanish Point Boat Club.

In the opener, Sandys’ Martin Siese and Peter Bromby defeated Spanish Point’s Billy Wotton and John Orr in the Bermuda Open Doubles Final.

Siese and Bromby won the first game 61 – 48 before taking a 2 – 0 lead when they won game two 44 – 31. Wotton and Orr got themselves back into the match when they won the third game 49 – 14, but Siese and Bromby closed the door when they won the fourth game and the match 50-39.

The Bermuda Open Singles Final saw Warwick Workmen’s Club’s Steven Bremar retaining the title by defeating Watford Sports Club’s Keino Zuill 4 – 3 in a seven-game thriller.

Zuill won the first game 54 – 33, but Bremar leveled the match at 1 – 1 when he won the second game 42 – 41.

Bremar then took a comfortable 3 – 1 lead after winning the third game 69 – 14 before winning the fourth game 67 – 19.

Zuilll then staged a comeback, winning the fifth and sixth games 68 – 29 and 79 – 31 to level the match at 3 – 3.

The seventh and final game saw Bremar pick up a 64 – 23 victory to reclaim the title.
