CVD To Host Pre-Election Forum Tonight
The leaders of the three political parties contesting the General Election will engage in a Pre-Election forum tonight [Sept 28] at 8pm, which will see the ”respective leaders involved in segments of just over a half hour each.”
It will be hosted by the ‘Community Voices for Democracy’, which had originally called for the format to be a debate.
A spokesperson said, “The Leaders of the three political parties contesting the General Election on October, 1st will engage in a Pre-Election forum tonight [Monday, September, 28th] at 8pm.
“The Forum will see the Premier, the Hon. David Burt; OBA Leader Mr. Craig Cannonier, and FDM Leader Mr. Marc Bean field questions from moderators Qian Dickinson and Rick Richardson, and they will also face challenging questions from the general public, and youth organization, Bermuda Youth Connect.
“The forum will be carried over a wide range of media platforms including Bermemes on Facebook and Instagram, ZBM TV 9; ZFB TV 7 and Ocean 89 FM radio.
“The format will find the respective leaders involved in segments of just over a half hour each, starting with the Premier Mr. Burt at 8pm.”
