‘Additional Testing Capacities Will Be Available’
Premier David Burt confirmed that additional Covid-19 testing capacities will be made available, with the Southside facility taking walk-ins today [Dec 8] from 2pm – 6pm, and the Perot facility in Hamilton taking walk-ins tomorrow from 10am – 2pm.
Premier Burt tweeted, “Due to the increase in cases and the need for testing of close contacts, the Department of Health has advised that additional testing capacities will be made available later today.
“If you feel that you may have been exposed, the Southside Covid-19 Drive Through facility will be taking ‘walk-ins’ today from 2pm – 6pm & the Perot testing facility will take ‘walk-ins’ tomorrow, from 10am – 2pm. Please go and get tested, they will not turn you away.”
Update 8.32pm: At tonight’s press conference they indicated there would be a change of plans and there will *not* be walk in testing at Perot tomorrow.
