Parfitt-Williams & Fylkir Advance In League Cup
Djair Parfitt-Williams and his Fylkir teammates recently edged Vestmannaeyjar in their Iceland League Cup round 1 match.
Fylkir held a comfortable 3-0 lead after 48 minutes, but in the end, they allowed two late goals.
Nikulas Val Gunnarsson gave Fylkir the lead in the 12th minute before Torfi Gunnarsson doubled the lead with a strike in the 42nd minute.
In the 48th minute, Fylkir went ahead 3 – 0 when Arnor Borg Gudjohnsen scored, but in the 75th minute Vestmannaeyjar got on the board with a strike from Thorvardarson Vidir. In the fourth minute of stoppage time, Vestmannaeyjar got another strike when Omarsson Breki found the back of the net, but they ran out of time looking for the equalizer.
