Document: Amendment For New Regulations
The amendment which relates to the new regulations has been posted online, with the Public Health [Covid-19 Emergency Powers] Amendment [No. 6] Regulations 2021 having an operative date of today [March 28].
The regulations include closure of indoor gyms, cinemas, and museums; retail stores being restricted to 20% of occupancy, indoor dining being prohibited except for hotels who are restricted to hotel guests only, remote working being mandatory where possible and more.
The new regulations were announced amidst news of a record high 294 active cases in Bermuda, with 81 new cases announced yesterday and more than 230 announced over the past week.
