Redmond Helps Bloomsburg Extend Win Streak
Scott Redmond and his Bloomsburg University men’s tennis teammates swept Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference [PSAC] opponent, Shepherd University, 7-0, for their fourth-straight win.
With the win, Redmond and his teammates improved to 4-2 on the year and in conference play while Shepherd University dropped to 0-6 for the season and 0-4 in PSAC action.
Junior Oliver Wiesemann, and sophomore Redmond put Bloomsburg up 2 – 0 with a 6-2 win at the #2 doubles spot.
Redmond kept the shutout hopes alive when he defeated Mason Palmer in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 in the number 5 singles spot.
