UK Cricket: Bermuda Players Team Results
Bermudian cricketers Chare Smith, Zeri Tomlinson, Logan Jones, Brianna Ray, Keegan Jones, and Cameron Jeffers were in action for their respective teams in the UK.
Chare Smith
Chare Smith and his Frenchay Cricket Club 1st XI teammates went down by 8 wickets against Bedminster Cricket Club’s 2nd XI.
Bedminster won the toss and elected to send Frenchay to bat, Frenchay scored 171 all out, Mike Donaldson was the top scorer with 55, Smith was run out for 8, James Carter was the pick of the Bedminster bowlers with figures of 9-2-30-4.
In reply, Bedminster scored 172/2, Robert Cunliffe was the top scorer with 57 not out while Tom Pugsley added 53 not out, Smith was the pick of the Frenchay bowlers with figures of 7-1-31-1.
Zeri Tomlinson, Logan Jones, Brianna Ray, Keegan Jones
Zeri Tomlinson, Logan Jones, Brianna Ray, and Keegan Jones all took to the field to represent Sedbergh School 3rd XI against Shireshead & Forton Cricket Club 2nd XI and went down by 87 runs.
Shireshead & Forton won the toss and elected to bat, they would score 232/3, Adam Murphy was their top scorer with 113, Julian Cann was the pick of the Sedbergh bowlers with figures of 8-1-39-2, Ray bowled 5-1-18-1, Tomlinson bowled 4-0-16-0, and Keegan Jones bowled 6-1-38-0.
In reply, Sedbergh was bowled out for 145, Cann was the top scorer with 46, while Tomlinson added 26, Logan Jones scored 1, while both Keegan Jones and Ray scored 1 run each. Jake Agar was the pick of the Shireshead & Forton bowlers with figures of 12-3-43-4.
Cameron Jeffers
Cameron Jeffers and his Cowbridge 1st XI teammates took on Malpas Cricket Club 1xt XI and won by 20 runs.
Cowbridge won the toss and elected to bat, they scored 326/4 in their 50 overs, Ben Wright was the top scorer with 163 not out, Jeffers did not bat, Daniel Jones was the pick of the Malpas bowlers with figures of 10-3-35-2.
Malpas would score 306/8 in reply, Ryan Ward was their top scorer with 174, Matthew Smart was the pick of the Cowbridge bowlers with figures of 10-0-71-3, while Jeffers bowled 10-0-49-1.
